What is the job description for a Construction Design Manager?

Candidate must have comprehensive experience in the design, development, and implementation of RF, Analog, and Microwave hardware for communications systems. Experience should include RF design using microstrip, coplanar waveguide, stripline and MMIC techniques. Circuit experience should include filters, oscillators, amplifiers, LNAs, mixers, VCOs, PLLs and synthesizers.

Candidate should have considerable transceiver design experience and should be proficient at designing solutions that address radio system grounding, noise and interference issues. Experience with ADS or HFSS tools is desired.

Candidate will also be responsible for functional management of the RF Design engineers. Functional responsibilities include: provide direction on activities in accordance with organization goals, motivate team members and facilitate team meetings, cultivate and reinforce appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors, identify and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions, monitors team budget and ensure proper use of assets, and recruiting activities.

Candidate should have the ability to lead project and proposal teams and be responsible for the technical evaluation of employees using the Performance Appraisal System. Position requires a BSEE degree or equivalent experience. A DoD TS clearance is desirable. The ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
